Welcome!

I am Jan Fabian Wallake, a professional artist and author (“Watercolor: Pour It On”, North Light Books). I have taught watercolor workshops all over the US and in many forgein countries. Now, I am offering my years of experience with painting to members of the PaintPal Club.

The PaintPal Club is for anyone with an interest in watercolor painting. You can be a novice painter, a hobby painter or simply have the desire to improve your current skills no matter what level you are at. You will clearly benefit from the step-by-step format of the PaintPal monthly episodes.

Each month a new episode of the PaintPal Club will be available for you to view. You will recieve a pre-designed sketch and can then paint along with me, your PaintPal! I will guide you through the painting from start to finish. Included in the sessions are lots of “how to tips” such as creating textures of wood, stone, ice, rain, bubbles, lace and many more.

My experience over the years has afforded me many opportunites and achievements. Here are a few of them…

3. She owned her own design company for many years

6. She is a Past President of the Minnesota Watercolor Society
7. She has instructed watercolor workshops all over the world for the last 10 years
8. She has authored several articles in artist’s magazines and is the author of  the book, “WATERCOLOR: POUR IT ON”
9. She has produced 2 hour-long videos
10. Jan is the winner of numerous awards including the prestigious National Watercolor Society Award
